FANTASYLAND

This famous Disney icon is probably one of the most photographed buildings in the world. It’s over 180 feet tall and stands over the Magic Kingdom to remind everyone that they’re in a truly special place.

The archway that serves as the entrance to Fantasyland is adorned with five pretty murals and runs through the middle of the castle. These mosaics each depict a scene from the animated Disney Film. The building itself houses some the Disney administration offices, upscale shopping at the King’s Gallery, and the Cinderella’s Royal Table restaurant.

 

It's a Small World

You can’t leave the park until you’ve been on the ride that is practically synonymous with Disney itself. The attraction consists of an 11-minute cruise around a world of singing animatronic children. Much of the ride taken was from the 1964 New York World’s Fair, so you’ll definitely feel some sort of time warp in effect. This was made a Disney classic because of the theme song, "It’s a Small World After All". It’s hypnotic melody will actually convince you that the ride was fun. Kids still flip for it.

          Peter Pan's Flight

         

This short ride is a treat for both children and their parents. It’s a 3-minute ride in two-person sailing ships inspired by the Sir James M. Barry story and the animated film. The crafts take a magical journey from the skies over London to Never-Never Land. Take note of the incredible detail the Disney imagineers have put into the attraction. The combination of detail and dreaminess make this an enjoyable ride


Cinderellas' Carousel

This lovely carousel is the centerpiece of Fantasyland. After walking through Cinderella Castle, you’ll come across this classic ride that features a mixture of antique and new mounts. There are 90 unique horses on this colorful carousel as well as 18 panels depicting scenes from the animated Disney film. Organs belt out your favorite Disney tunes in what will undoubtedly be a very Disney moment. Make sure your camera is ready
