ANIMAL KINGDOM: ASIA

This section of Animal Kingdom is still a work in progress. Although it is open to the public, several attractions in this section like Flights of Wonder have already seen revisions, and others have just been opened. One such newly opened ride is the Kali River Rapids ride. Open since March, this white water flume ride is still working out the kinks, but will definitely cool you off.

The rest of the park resides in the Kingdom of Anandapur. The main attraction of this land is the Maharajah Jungle Trek, a walking tour where you can see Tigers, bats and a Komodo Dragon in their natural habitat.

You also get to see rare birds fly free in the Flights of Wonder show. In this attraction, birds fly over and around the heads of the audience in an entertaining caper. The show has seen several revisions, but is always pretty good. It’s a good place to take a break after the Maharajah Jungle Trek.
