The Hockey Hall of Fame is a must visit for even the most unattached hockey fan. The numerous interactive exhibits, games, uniforms, historical artifacts, and other such memorabilia make this museum one of the premier sports museums in the world.

The museum’s main attraction, of course, is located in the 45-foot-high stained-glass dome. For inside here stands the actual Stanley Cup, the NHL’s oldest and most coveted hockey trophy. Visitors can have their photographs taken with the trophy or, after gazing at the trophy’s splendor, browse the biographies and portraits of Hockey Hall of Fame members, which adorn the wall behind the Cup.

There are many other galleries in the museum, great both for kids and adults. In the Household Family Zone visitors can watch a series of television sets showing various footage of historical hockey games and commercials. Check out the Video Dressing Room Zone of the Montreal Canadians, complete with audio displays of locker room chats. The Marquee Zone displays a collection of goalie masks from early leather masks to modern facemasks of today. At the Rink Zone, a live goal-shooting booth allows visitors a chance to compete with TV monitors. At the Impact Zone visitors can put on the pads and play at all levels against a soft-puck-firing machine. Other Zones include the History Zone, the Broadcast Zone, the Arena Zone and the North American Zone. The Hockey Hall of Fame Museum also features two theaters, showing various hockey-related films.
