Newark
International Airport
Newark International Airport is located in
Essex and Union Counties in New Jersey. It is approximately
sixteen miles from Manhattan. It is run by the Transit Authority
of New York and New Jersey, as is JFK and LaGuardia in New York.
There are several ways to get to the
airport. Route 1-9, Interstate 78, and NJ Route 22 all have
specific exits for Newark International, and the New Jersey
Turnpike has two interchanges, 14 and 13A, which will get you
there.
To reach Manhattan from Newark
International Airport, there are a variety of options. The
Olympia Trails Coach runs from the airport to Grand Central,
Penn Station, Port Authority, and the World Trade Center, making
it the most versatile option. Additionally, the New Jersey
Transit Authority provides two buses, #107 to Midtown Manhattan
(patience advised with this one) and #304 to Newark’s Penn
Station. The fare is $4. Once there, PATH trains are available into the city.
On-site parking is readily available on
either a daily or long-term basis, with bus service available to
the e lots to cut down on a lengthy walk. To check on the

Ground transportation to the airport is negotiable for travel by
limousine, taxi, or bus, from most local addresses as well as
other major airports in the area, such as JFK and LaGuardia.
Rental cars are accessible at JFK, as
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, and National, Alamo, and Enterprise
all have stations which can be reached through a monorail system
with the airport’s infrastructure.
Connecting flights are always available to
Kennedy or LaGuardia Airports via express bus, metered taxi
limousine, or chartered and private vans. Multilingual staff
(they’re the ones wearing red jackets) will assist you with
all inquiries and directions once inside the facility.
LaGuardia
Airport
LaGuardia Airport is
located in the borough of Queens, New York City. It is
approximately eight miles from Midtown Manhattan. The facility
measures a full 680 acres with 72 different gates from which to
depart. It has been operated by the Port Authority of New York
and New Jersey under a lease with the city of New York since
1947.
To get there from
Manhattan, take the Grand Central Parkway east to either exit 5
(Astoria Boulevard, Marine Air Terminal), exit 6 (94th
street, alternate Airport Exit), or exit 7 (Airport Exit). From
Long Island, follow the Grand Central Parkway West to either
exit 5 (Steinway Street, Marine Air Terminal) or 7 (Airport
Exit).
Upon arrival in LaGuardia,
there are various methods for getting yourself into Manhattan.
The M60 bus connects with various subway stations which can be
taken into the city. The Q33 bus stops at the 74th
Street-Broadway-Jackson Heights subway stop in Queens. The Carey
Airport Express has various stops in Manhattan, among them Grand
Central Station. The Gray Line Air Shuttle will drop you off at
any hotel in Manhattan from 23rd to 125th
Streets. Finally, the Gray Line Express runs back and forth from
Manhattan and Jamaica, Queens, to LaGuardia.
Parking is readily
available on either a daily or long-term basis, with Lots 1, 4,
5, 6, and 7 available for hourly or daily use, and Lot 3 for a
more lengthy stay. Ground transportation to the airport is

local addresses as well as other major airports in the area,

Kennedy International Airport
John F. Kennedy
International Airport (JFK) is located in the borough of Queens,
New York City, on Jamaica Bay. It is approximately fifteen miles
from the heart of Midtown Manhattan. It occupies 4930 acres with
approximately different gates from which to depart.
To get there from
Manhattan, take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Airport Exit, or
Belt Parkway East to exit 19 (which is the Van Wyck Expressway).
From New Jersey, follow the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 14C (the
Holland Tunnel exit,) then proceed south on West Street to the
Belt Parkway.
Upon arrival at the
airport, use the following methods to reach Manhattan. By
subway, take the A train, which will lead you right in. There
are also brown and white vans that provide service from the
airport into the Howard Beach-JFK Airport subway station, from
which you can charter a course for other destinations. The Carey
Airport Express goes from the airport to Grand Central Station,
making it a particularly helpful bus. Finally, the Gray Line Air
Shuttle will drop you off at any Manhattan hotel from 23rd
Street to 125th Street.

Kennedy Airport
The Taxi & Limousine
Commission is conducting a "Flat Fare" program for
trips from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Manhattan.
The flat fare is $30.00
plus any tolls. The meter will not be turned on and the night
surcharge will not be added.
If passengers request
multiple stops, the flat rate of $30.00 will be collected at the
first stop in Manhattan, and the meter will be turned on for the
remainder of the trip. The metered fare should be collected at
the last stop, from the last passenger.
