The Greyhound bus line pulls
into downtown Los Angeles round the clock at 1716 East Seventh
Street. There are also bus stations in Hollywood at 1409 Vine
Street, in the Valley at 11239 Magnolia Blvd., North Hollywood, and
in the city of San Fernando at 1441 Truman Street.

The Dash transportation
service is a fleet of shuttle buses that provide inexpensive public
transportation in several communities, including downtown Los
Angeles, Hollywood, the Westside, Venice, and the Valleys.

The MTA, the city's
Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus system has several lines
to and from downtown Los Angeles. You can continue on to almost
anywhere in the county with transfers. Exact change is required on
all buses. Most bus lines stop running at midnight. Regular fare is
$1.35 and transfers cost $0.25.

The city of Santa Monica runs
the Big Blue Bus throughout the Westside, to LAX, UCLA and downtown.
Blue buses connect to the MTA lines. Local fare is $0.50.

Flyaway buses travel at
scheduled intervals from LAX to Van Nuys for connections throughout
the San Fernando Valley.
